Vinification The grapes were harvested and vinified in the modern winery of Quinta dos Poços, with the most appropriate technology. After stalk removal and soft crushing, the grapes went to granite mills for a traditional menmade tread. After treading the masses were passed into stainless steel tanks where fermentation took place, resorting to temperature control and pumping, according to the must
features. Thus, the constituents of quality, typical of each variety softly passed from the skint of ripe grapes to the wine.
Ageing Aged for 18 months in new french oak barrels. The final blend of Quinta dos Poços
Grande Reserva was made from a very strict selection after numerous tests, wich allowed to choose the wines from the best barrels.
Part of the lot Aged in French oak barrels and part in stainless steel vats
Colour Intense and deep

integrated tannins and a seductive freshness.
Accompaniment A surprising wine that can be enhanced if it is opened in advance, ideally 1 hour
before serving. Its sleek and complex profile blends in perfectly with good meat,
game and cheeses of character and intense. Serve at 17ºC.
Longevity If you are serving a Quinta dos Poços Grande Reserva with more than 5 years after the year
of harvest, should be decanted. Over the years, it may form sediments. The bottle should be
stored horizontally in a dry and cool place. It is estimated it should maintain its best quality
for about 20 years.
