Wine of intense violet color, with an excellent structure, concentration and aromatic complexity with well integrated with the barrel fresh wild red fruits. Elegant, mineral, balanced and with a long and persistent finish, has a high potential for aging.

GRAPE ORIGINS
The grapes are sourced from old vines with predominant exposure East and East-South and aged between 30 years and over than 90 years. Vineyards are planted on traditional terraces of schist soils.
GRAPE VARIETIES
A mix of very old vines and Touriga Nacional.
VINIFICATION
Grapes are hand picked and transported to the winery in small plastic crates. A manual triage was undertaken before the grapes being de-stemmed and gently crushed. The fermentation is carried out in small stainless steel tanks with temperature controlled.

Tasting Notes
It is a red wine with a vibrant violet colour, an excellent structure, concentrated with complex aromas of fresh wild dark red berries with very well integrated oak flavours. It is an elegant, mineral and well-balanced wine with a great length of finish and significant aging potential.
