Tasting Notes
Quinta dos Carvalhais Colheita has a ruby hue of fine intensity. With a complex bouquet, the delicate presence of floral and black tea notes, both characteristic of Touriga Nacional, combine with notes of fresh red fruits, especially raspberry and gooseberry, wild shrubs (broom) and menthol. It has subtle, well-integrated oak notes, contributing to the richness of this wine’s palate. It is a well-structured wine, with tight tannins, a lively acidity and a balanced finish.
